Best Recipe for Steamed Mussels with Garlic and Wine

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 Cloves Minced Garlic

1/4 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper

1/2 Cup White Wine

Method

Add Olive Oil to heavy-bottomed pot on medium heat. Add Garlic and Red Pepper and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, but not browned. Add the Mussels, stir and turn heat to high. Add the wine and cover with lid. After 2 to 3 minutes stir the mussels and recover. Continue to cook until all the mussels are opened, around 6 to 8 minutes. Stir the chopped parsley into the mussels. Serve on cooked linguine or by itself with crusty bread.
