Coastal Cottage or Farmhouse Style, in relation to decor, are those pieces that are rustic, reclaimed, vintage and tell a story. The pieces are heavy and well-made. The finishes are distressed when painted or reclaimed with white-wash for an aging affect. The furniture and fixtures are large, beefy and are heirloom quality.
