The Hudson Bay Table Lamp is luminous with its deep blue reactive glaze covering the ceramic surface of the vase-shaped body just like the open waters of the Hudson Bay. The pattern that has been carved into the ceramic at the lamp's widest point absorbed the glaze differently to create contrast. The off-white shantung shade is fastened to the blue lamp by a matching finial.
