- Vacuum Regularly - Vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris. Set the vacuum so that the brush is the farthest away from the rug’s surface.
- Machine Washable -
- Rug sizes 5'x8' and smaller are machine washable, making them ideal for homes with pets, kids and high-traffic areas.
- For best results, use a standard 4.2+ Cu. Ft. or larger washing machine.
- Wash separately with cold water and a mild detergent; do not bleach.
- Drying Instructions - Do not machine dry. Hang or lay flat to dry.
- Spot Cleaning Larger Rugs -
- For rug sizes 6'x9' and 8'x10', spot cleaning is recommended.
- Alternatively, they can be cleaned in an extra-large capacity washing machine.
Crease Relaxation - If your rug arrives folded, it may take up to two weeks for any creases to relax.
Avoid Direct Sunlight - Protect your rug's vibrancy by avoiding direct sunlight. Rotate frequently if placed in sunny areas to ensure even wear and prevent fading.
Due to many patterns and styles, rugs are not stocked locally by Our Boat House, however they ship directly from the vendor to your home in 5-10 business days via UPS or FedEx. Stock status details, tracking details and any information regarding updates on your rug order will be emailed.

Standard Shipping type is defined as curbside delivery for large pieces and door step delivery for small pieces (UPS/FedEx).
The fee for Standard Shipping ranges from 10% to 15% of the product purchase price, pre-tax and is calculated at checkout.
Many times due to the size, weight and fragility of the item, customers typically upgrade their shipping type to White Glove Delivery. White Glove Delivery includes bringing the newly purchased item into the home, placing it in the room of choice then the crew removes and disposes of packaging materials.The upgrade fee for this service range from $200.-$400
*This fee does not include the removal of any existing furniture items in the home the order is replacing.
