What's Trending: Natural Materials

At the moment the leading trend within interior design and home decor is incoprorating natural materials and we've never been happier about it. Not only can it be more sustainable and healthier for the environment but it also happens to be very aesthetically pleasing. We love a good neutral pallete often transporting us into dreamlands such as Bali or Tulum. It also adapts a somewhat more minimilistic vibe as your eyes aren't being torn in many different directions with tons of color, it's instantly calming, like an oasis.

Area rugs or runners can be one of the easiest ways to incorporate organic, natural materials. Plus they happen to be very durable for high traffic areas. Browse our wide variety of earthtone rugs here

Baskets and hanging hats/bags as decor is another simple way to add texture and interest to any room whether it is an entranceway, bedroom or living area. Our baskets can be used as storage, planters or even ottomans.

In the kitchen, sticking to an all white with neutral/wooden cooking supplies and accessories looks organic and inviting. Large wooden spoons and thick layered cutting boards is decor in itself.

One way we love to incorporate the au naturale is by hanging authentic boat oars or utilizing thick rope throughout the home. These elements add a nautical touch and can be the perfect natural accent pieces to nail this look.

Lighting has many different natural materials to choose from. Rattan, driftwood, natural fiber and many more - it's a statement making element that really makes a difference. This one featured is the Natural Rattan Chandelier.
