Coastal summer beach tent
There are a few forms of beach tents to choose from, we picked out our three favorite DIY's to get you started. You won't need many tools or supplies, it's a pretty simple summer DIY. We hope you enjoy.

Coastal summer quilt beach tent

We love this sweet coastal quilt tent, this one was made for the kids. Imagine taking a king size coastal quilt and making one for the adults to enjoy.
Coastal A frame beach tent
The A frame tent is more structured than the Bohemian style stick ones and is the most popular tent. This is probably because it stays together for storing and travels nicely for an easy set up. We haven't tried this one yet but can't wait to get started.

Summer is around the corner and we can't wait for long days on the beach. Having a cool place  in the coastal outdoors to hide from the strong summer sun makes for the most enjoyable coastal relaxing. Here is a fun nautical DIY: Make a Summer beach tent.

How to build your Summer beach tent sites:

In the past outdoor living used to consist of some old aluminum folding chairs , a plain picnic table and dad's grill. Spring forward to synthetic  outdoor wicker seating, all-weather fabrics, outdoor coastal lighting and indoor-outdoor area rugs, you can now live outside in big coastal style just like your beachy indoor design. Today’s outdoor living rooms are cozy, comfortable and oh-so stylish.

Blue And White Coastal Patio

1.To make the most of outdoor living, look at your space the same way you would approach designing an interior room. Consider flooring, lighting, color, pattern, scale and texture.

2.Ultimately, the key essential for outdoor living room comfort is seating, From outdoor slipcover furnishings to woven wicker lounge chairs the style and seating options are fun and exciting.

Multiple coastal outdoor seating on different levels

3. An outdoor room doesn't have to be limited to construction on flat, level ground. You can create and design your outdoor living spaces on multiple levels, around a pool or by the garden.  Get creative and let the space flow organically around your life.

4. Relax in the cool summer evening air in front of a warm fire. Build a coastal outdoor seating arrangement around a fire bowl or gather on the slipcover sofa in front of a fireplace outside.  Outdoor fireplaces or patio fire pits not only provide warmth and a place for cooking, but are a great place to gather with family and friends.

5. Don't forget to anchor your outdoor coastal living room with an indoor-outdoor area rug. A great boathouse stripe to add design interest in your space. This blue and white stripe outdoor area rug is a beautiful example of how to make your space pop with color from an area rug.
