Spotted from the crow's nest: Beach House Tour- Cronulla, Sydney 1950's brick beach house

A 1950s brick house in the southern Sydney beach suburb of Cronulla is the perfect place to hang out with family and friends.  This lovely brick beach house in Cronulla Beach is an eclectic mix of coastal modern and surf art. The artwork of the surfer – Dora Cluster – is by homeowner Nathan, a graphic designer and illustrator who runs Blacklist Studio. The couple loves the whole California surf and art scene, and wanted to create spaces that were conducive to their lifestyle. Casual, family-friendly, clean, surf shack-inspired home is perfect for this couple.  The Albert sofa from Jardan is the one piece of furniture the couple bought specifically for the house. The Parker sideboard was found in a council clean-up and the map wall hanging is from the couple's company, Blacklist Studio. Clean, coastal modern beach house has a great open space. Jaynie and Nathan jack hammered the kitchen walls to leave exposed brick. Two rooms were combined to create one larger main bedroom. The original floorboards were lime-washed for a whitewash "beachy" look.
