Nautical Rope Fringed Shower Curtain DIY

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

macramé trim
3/8″ twisted cotton rope
shower curtain
sewing machine
scissors

1. Start by pinning the macramé trim to the bottom hem of  your shower curtain.

Sew To Hem

2, Run a zig zag stitch along the hem with your sewing machine.

3. Determine how much more length is needed for the curtain to hit the floor of the bathroom.

4. Double that amount and add 2 inches.

Cut Cords

5. Cut segments of rope to that length. If you’re using thick, twisted rope like I did , you can untwist it into three smaller cords.

Fold Cords In Half

6. Fold one of the cords in half.

Push Loop Through

7. Push the loop through one of the

Pull cords tight

8. Pull the cords tight. Continue the process along entire width of the trim.

9. Once you’re finished, hang the curtain on shower hooks.

Trim rope fringe

10. Give the fringe a bit of a haircut!
