Coastal cottage style epitomizes that laid-back beach vibe that we all know and love and creating it in your home can be an easier task than you think. Incorporating a combination of new and old elements coastal cottage style evokes a cozy, inviting atmosphere that can be used whether you live steps from the sand or not.

An open living space is best for creating an inviting atmosphere full of natural light. Blue and white is also a staple when it comes to coastal cottage style. Emulating shades from the beach is the best way to recreate the feel within your home. Coastal slipcovered furniture is one of the key factors to embrace a coastal cottage style living room. The Nantucket Slipcovered Sofa featured above is our go to sofa for laid-back, relaxed living. Surrounding the Starlight Diamond Coffee Table which features a distressed finish perfectly completes the cottage look and feel.

In the bedrooms, for a coastal cottage look, we love to keep it simple. Think less is more, still to white ship lap walls, a simple bed frame and add in color with your duvet cover. We love a navy striped one! There's something about the all white that makes it feel crisp, clean and the perfect place to wind down after a day in the sun.

We love utlilizing shiplap walls for coastal home, we can never have enough! This bathroom is perfect for coastal cottage style. Again, simple, yet truly all you need. They even used an old sail cloth as the shower curtain and cleats as hooks to hang wet towels, it's all in the details!

A very simple and affordable way to make your home feel more in line with the coastal cottage style is with the decor. A thick striped rug instantly makes a huge difference and really gives off a coastal vibe. While throw pillows can be a fun way to add pops of color and can easily be switched up throughout the seasons.

After spending 6 days in Antigua it's clear why it's such a popular vacation destination. From the white sand beaches to the cystal clear water and the friendly locals, we can positively say we have zero complaints from our time spent there. We stayed in two different Air Bnb's both which exceeded our expectations. Read on to see photos and reviews of accommodations, restaurants and activities!

Our first stay was at the Pineapple House in the English Harbour, we rented the Hibiscus Room and were immediately blown away by the coastal decor and overall vibe of the place. The host, Libby, was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home.  Above is our villa, complete with a small kitchen (which we cooked breakfast in every morning) a king size bed, living room and unreal view. The villa is completely open so there's no AC and birds can fly in an out but we found it to be lovely. There's a mosquito net that we tucked under the mattress before we left for dinner and had no issues with bites.

With cool weather here, or hopefully around the corner if you live in the south, now is the perfect time to add a fire table to your outdoor living space.

Fire tables are great for entertaining friends and family or for enjoying a crisp evening solo with wine and your favorite book! With ledges that make entertaining easy, our Hampton Fire Table and our Malibu Fire Table offer the perfect perches for platters of hors d'oeuvres or cocktail glasses.

For more intimate seating arrangements consider our delightful Maui Fire Table and our Nantucket fire table for their effortless coastal elegance.

As temperatures continue to dwindle, having a beautiful fire pit can allow you to enjoy your outdoor space all year long (save for the snowiest places).
