 Lobster bake party ideas
1. A large table. You need a lot of space when you have a clam bake, the main dish and sides take up a lot of room plus all of the clambake decor to showcase. Try one of our biergarten tables and benches to serve your dishes on. They're easily transported as they fold up and you can line as many as you'd like in a row.

2. Seating. Various seating options are available depending on the style of party you are going for. Nantucket Washed Woven Rattan Dining Chair for a classy look, while our Large 71" Long Kona Wicker Willow Bench or stools have a more casual feel and can squeeze guests in around the table and fit more.

Nantucket, the ultimate summer destination is a tiny island of Cape Cod, Massachusetts known for its unpainted cedar-shingle homes, cobblestone streets and stunning beaches. While we can't all be able to visit this unique island during the short summer months, it's just as good in the fall (maybe even better in our opinion). Read on for everything you need to know about Nantucket in the Fall, from where to stay, what to do and the best restaurants to dine in.

1. STROLL THROUGH THE CHARMING TOWN

I think the biggest difference in fall vs winter on Nantucket is the amount of people. Less people means more relaxation. No one wants to feel like a herd of cattle, especially while on vacation. We experienced no waits at the raved about restaurants, less crowded beaches and plenty of activities to do. While there were many weddings going on while we were visiting it felt like we really had the quaint little town to ourselves. We enjoyed strolling through the cobblestone streets, window shopping and admiring all the beautiful homes while enjoying the relaxed nature of being on "island time".

2. DINE AT ONE OF THE AWARD WINNING RESTAURANTS

It's not a trip to Nantucket without a visit to Cru. With delicious lobster rolls, caviar and quite possibly the freshest raw bar on the island we highly recommend this restaurant with one of the few killer views of the water. You must try their crucumber cocktail, refreshing and delicious!

During the day we rode bikes to 167 Raw, which many locals told us had the best lobset roll on Nantucket. I'm sure you can tell from the above photo that we were not disappointed. It's a simple food truck that's based in Nantucket during the summer/fall and Charleston for the rest of the year. We just might have to plan a Charleston trip to get our lobster roll fix in the winter! They have a great outdoor space with picnic tables, umbrellas and you can purchase beer/wine from the little market.

Another favorite restaurant that came well-recommended was Provisions. Ideal for whne you're craving red meat after you've over indulged on seafood, although we can really never get enough. Here the food is best enjoyed shared, we split the burger and a couple of sides leaving very satisfied. And of course the cocktails were definitely above average.

We found ourselves wanting to continue going back to Tree Bar, "the coolest outdoor bar on the the island" the vibe here is relaxed, with reggae playing in the background and Sunday football on the tv and an actual tree in the center of the small bar.  The food here was truly something. Among the dished we tried the spicy tuna roll, the mussels and the tacos were all noteworthy, can you tell we went here more than once?

3. EXPLORE THE ISLAND BY BOAT

Explore the island by boat via Endeavor Sailing! Arguable the highlight of our trip, amazing views, great photo opportunities and you can bring a bottle of wine! Only $60 a person and so worth it!

4. BIKE TO CISCO BREWERY

You can spend a whole day at Cisco Brewery! From live music to fresh seafood and great craft beer there's something for everyone. We enjoyed the bike ride just as much as the atmosphere!

5. VISIT THE WAUWINET HOTEL

The Wauwinet is one of the nicest accomodations on the island. Breathtaking views, beautiful decor and amazing service makes for an unforgettable stay. You can eat at Topper for a wonder seafood meal on the bay!
